Mudtools was founded by Michael Sherrill who found that the available “clay tools” did not serve his ideas well. So, out of necessity he would make a tool, or modify an existing one to suit his needs. These new tools quickly became indispensable and were always the first thing to come out of his toolbox. His business has been built around providing quality made unique ribs, paddles, sponges, throwing sticks and more to potters.
