Maturing the glaze at lower temperatures and using different combustible materials such as sawdust, newspaper, straw, etc will greatly influence the colors and look of the glaze. Minimizing the distance between the kiln and the reduction container will also enhance color.\u003cbr\u003e\nProper safety processes and personal protective equipment are very important when doing Raku as you are exposed to high heat, flames and smoke.
